Terms of Use

The terms for using Findway's website, apps and AI assistant tools. By using Findway you agree to them.

Last updated November 2026

Who we are

Findway is provided by Universal Wallet Ltd (“we”, “us”). It covers the website at findway.ai, the Findway apps for iPhone and Android, and Findway in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants (together, “Findway”).

Using Findway

You may use Findway, free of charge, to find your way to and around hospitals for yourself, for someone you are helping, or as part of your work at a hospital. You may share links to places and directions with anyone.

Our maps and data

The maps, floor plans, places, routes and other data in Findway, and the software and designs that present them, belong to Universal Wallet Ltd or to the people who license them to us. Using Findway does not give you any ownership of them or any right to reuse them beyond the use described above.

Without our written permission, you must not:

  • copy, download, scrape, crawl or extract Findway's maps, floor plans, places or routes in bulk, whether by hand or by automated means;
  • use them to build, improve or train another map, dataset, product, service or AI model;
  • republish, sell or license them, or present them as your own;
  • get around the limits on how often Findway can be asked for data, for example by spreading requests across many addresses or accounts;
  • interfere with Findway, its servers or other people's use of it.

Search engines may index our public pages in the ordinary way. To use Findway's data in a product of your own, or to map a hospital with us, get in touch.

Other people's material

Some of what Findway shows comes from others, and keeps its owners' terms. Street and building data from OpenStreetMap is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Hospital maps published by hospitals and NHS trusts remain theirs. Street maps are provided by Mapbox under its terms.

Places you publish

If you publish a place or a map in Findway, you confirm that you are entitled to, and you let us show, store, adapt and share it as part of Findway. You must follow the rules for shared places on the Support page. We may remove anything that breaks them.

Directions, not advice

Findway helps you find your way. It does not give medical advice. Maps can be out of date, buildings change and routes can be closed, so follow the hospital's signs and staff on the day, and in an emergency call 999 or go to the nearest emergency department. We work to keep Findway accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it always will be.

Liability

Findway is provided free and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or from not being able to use it, including being late or going to the wrong place. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your privacy

What Findway does with your data is described on the Privacy page.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and using Findway after a change means you accept it. If we stop you using Findway for breaking these terms, the parts about our maps and data still apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
